Wednesday night, the Milan C-2 Board of Education approved the hiring of Coach Kennedy Christian as the new Assistant Varsity Softball Coach and 9-12 Science Instructor for the 2025-2026 school year.
Coach Christian graduated High School from Putnam County where she played softball with current Head Softball Coach, Sara Webb. Upon graduation, she attended NCMC where she continued her love of softball playing for the Pirates. She completed her Associates Degree from NCMC and then transferred to Missouri Western State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Health Professions and a Minor in Biology.
Coach Christian is a familiar face to the Wildcats, as she taught for us a couple of years ago before taking some time to stay home with her babies; she and her husband, Kameran, have two sweet kiddos, Koda (2) and Kayson (1).
Upon her departure, she shared that given the opportunity, when was ready to get back to the classroom she would love to come back to Milan. She shared with us that she can't wait to see familiar faces that she's missed so much and "rejoin such a great community of students, teachers, and staff. I'm glad to be a Wildcat again!" #LearningTodayLeadingTomorrow

All guardians of 7-12 students should've received an email with a grade check from PowerSchool Wednesday. These grade checks were also archived on the parent portal. If you cannot access the grade check report, please email Mrs. Dodson (bdodson@milan.k12.mo.us) directly from the email address you'd like to receive school communications to.

Milan C-2 will be in session Friday 2/21/25!
Please charge your Chromebook and bring it back to school. If you borrowed a Kajeet hotspot please return it to school also!
